Kadriye İnal (1980 – ) completed her primary, secondary and high school education in İzmir, the city where she was born. After graduating from Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Fine Arts in 2003, she got her Master’s degree from the Sculpture Department of the same university in 2006. İnal is still continuing his doctorate in Art and Design, which she started in 2013 at Dokuz Eylül University, Fine Arts Institute.

In her works, the artist deals with problems such as freedom, identity and self in the social, cultural and psycho-social framework of human existence. In her traditional practice of figurative sculpture, which she has adopted as a means of individual expression, she continues her production through the materials of which she experiences the limits, as well as using an interdisciplinary language.

The artist lives and works in Istanbul.
